If you’re like me…

If you’re like me, and you still use pens and journals, you know that familiar feeling of seeing the first blank page of a book. What do you choose to do with it?! And how will the use of this one page determine the fate of this particular journal; what is means or represents; and how it may shape any prospective piece of writing to come.

The truth is of course - that bank page - in all its BLANKNESS is the ultimate freedom! And yet, the ultimate freedom is often accompanied by fear, so much so, that sometimes we might wish that it was already written for us.

In our lives, we will have chances, where we can see blank pages and stretches of opportunity…. can we have the courage to turn towards those blank pages, and not shy away? To seize the moment, and connect with our very own passion project, and embark on a journey of a wonderful creation - namely, our own lives as we may *truly* want them. Depending on individual lives, not everyone may be able to do absolutely everything they want to do (as the quote suggests), but even moving an edge closer, to authentic living - however that might look - could be the start of a new story. As unsure as you may feel, and as uncertain and messy as it may seem, just perhaps, the spontaneous motion of your own hand on that blank page, could be an immensely hopeful, self-loving act to give yourself.

So today, I’m appreciating intentional, and focused living, as well as the practice of radical acceptance. It’s food for thought anyway…. I hope it’s something helpful to reflect on.
